Qualified Teachers Only!

Qualified Teachers

At Chorlton Tuition Centre I regularly get calls from people asking for work as a tutor?

My first question for them is always the same-

“Are you a qualified teacher?”

If the answer is no, I simply won’t employ them. I can’t employ them.

Society may have discredited teachers over the last few years, but I don’t follow that path.

I know from personal experience the demands of qualifying to be a teacher and working full time in a school.

It isn’t easy.

But, you do pick up a wealth of experience of how to teach children.

This is very, very, very different from having a high maths qualification.

Qualified teachers bring a wealth of expertise and subject mastery to a tuition centre. They possess in-depth knowledge of the subjects they teach and stay updated with the latest curriculum standards and teaching methodologies. Their mastery enables them to deliver accurate, comprehensive, and high-quality instruction, ensuring students receive the best possible education in their chosen subjects.

Furthermore, qualified teachers possess a repertoire of effective instructional strategies that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities. They understand how to adapt their teaching methods to meet individual students’ needs, ensuring that each student can grasp and apply the concepts effectively. Their ability to employ various teaching techniques, such as visual aids, hands-on activities, and interactive discussions, engages students and enhances their understanding and retention of the material.

Qualified teachers recognize that every student is unique and requires individualized attention and support. They are skilled at assessing students’ strengths, weaknesses, and learning gaps, allowing them to tailor their instruction accordingly. Whether it’s providing additional explanations, offering extra practice opportunities, or addressing specific areas of difficulty, qualified teachers ensure that students receive personalized guidance, nurturing their progress and confidence.

Finally, qualified teachers excel in effective communication with students and parents alike. They maintain open lines of communication, providing timely feedback on students’ progress, strengths, and areas for improvement. This feedback helps students understand their performance and enables parents to actively participate in their child’s educational journey. The ability to communicate effectively builds trust, strengthens relationships, and fosters a supportive partnership between the tuition centre, teachers, students, and parents.

If you do decide to open your very own Tuition Centre this has to be a priority.
